Halloween makeup- clown

Hey guys!! So here is the final of my week load of halloween make up ideas, saving the best till last, this is actually a lot easier than you would think, but it does take time and patience!!

You will need- White face paint, bright eye shadow- yellow, pink and purple, pencil and liquid eye liner- or back face paint.

Step 1- make sure your skin is moisturised, because the face paint will dry your skin out! Then, using your white face paint, put it all over your face (you could also take it down your neck too if you want to go all out clown style). Next, get your yellow eye shadow and cover your eye lids in this lovely bright colour..!

Step 2- Using your pink eye shadow, brush this under your eyes in a half moon- like shape, going slightly onto your cheeks.

Step 3- Get your purple eye shadow and add this on top of the pink to add more colour and depth, creating an ombre look.

Step 4- Get your black pencil eye liner and draw a rounded triangle on to the end of your nose and fill it in with the liquid eye liner (or black face paint if you have it).

Step 5- using the eye liner/ black face paint again, paint your lips with it, i went slightly over my lip shape to make this mouth part look bigger, then from the corners of your mouth to a 'big flick' as you would an eye liner wing going up on to your cheeks- as much as you want. Then using the white face paint again, put little blogs of it on to the lips and nose to highlight them.

Step 6- this is the tricky part- which is really hard to explain so its easier copying it from the photo if I'm honest, but to create the top part of the eye make up, you need to draw a line just above the crease in your eyelid and kind of draw a triangular shape up through your eye brow to your forehead and colour this in black. Then add your normal winged eyeliner, slightly heavier than you usually would and make sure the wing is big. For the bottom part you also need to draw a triangular shape under your eye bringing the middle bit down to your cheek, at the end of each 'flick' add a little dot.

Finished! The eye section is really hard to explain how to do, so i hope you understood it ok!

This is my favourite look that i have created out of the 7 that i have posted about. i hope you have been able to follow them all ok and have enjoyed these different to usual posts, i know i have!

Have a fun halloween and i will see you next week with a post most likely about an outfit that i have worn!If you have any requests on what you would like to see me blog about please do let me know!

See you next week!

Halloween makeup- robot

Hey guys!! So i have been really enjoying doing these halloween make up ideas, its something different to my normal fashion posts and will probably only happen at this time of year!

So today's look is inspired by a robot where it looks like the skin has been scratched to reveal the metal underneath. This look us created by using simple day to day makeup and fake blood. For this you will need- liquid/ pencil eyeliner, silver and grey eye shadow and fake blood (and your normal makeup for the rest of your face).

Step 1- put on your normal makeup, foundation mascara- the lot, then using eyeliner draw jaggedy lines (like i have), this will create the basic look.

Step 2 - using the darker of the two eye shadows, fill in the shapes you have just made.

Step 3- using your eyeliner again, make similar lines and dots to the ones i have done to create the nut & bolt metal look.

Step 4- using the lighter eye shadow that you have, use it as a highlighter so make the 'metal' look more shiny and realistic.

Step 5- Finally, using the fake blood and a thin make up brush/ paint brush, paint around the 'metal' and on the side towards the middle of your face brush the blood towards your nose, this will make it look more scratched. Add extra lines to add smaller scratches.

FINISHED! So this look is now finished, i haven't put on much make up so to really finish this look off i would go all out with smokey eyes, winged eyeliner red or metalic lipstick and contact lenses.

Have fun!!!

See you tomorrow!

Winter is coming

Hey guys!! I hope you are all well!

As I have said before, I am so obsessed with faux suede skirts this season, this one is from Primark and one of many that I own. I have this in red and black as well as this brown one, it is one of those skirts that you have to have in every colour and it is easily dressed up/ down, this is my day look for uni.
I wore thicker tights than I have been with this outfit as its getting so cold now! So I wore knitted tights from Primark and little snake skin patterned dolly shoes, which are also from Primark. The top I am wearing is a long sleeved night neck crop top with a lace up back which adds a statement to the whole outfit I feel, I love this top as it suits being worn for a evening out or for a more casual outfit such as this one.
This top is from Boohoo.com. The jacket I teamed this outfit with is my leather one from Primark, I really like this jacket as its slightly thinner than other leather jackets that I have had before which I find is better as I can wear it on warmer days with a thin top or on colder days and layer up under it and still be the perfect temperature!
The necklace I am wearing is from Thomas Sabo with one white bead, I love this necklace so much, I had it as a present from a few of my friends for my birthday (in September) and I haven't taken it off since as it goes with everything I wear!

If any of you would like to see any more reviews or DIY posts, please let me know and I will mix my posts up a bit :). See you next week!

Grey

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven't posted this week, I've been really busy back at uni!
So its officially getting colder.. which I am not loving so much. I would much rather it be hot all year round, but then we wouldn't get to wear cute warm & woolly outfits!

So this is today's outfit! I'm really trying to avoid jumpers and thick clothing as I'm still clinging on to the thought of summer! All my outfits this week have included either a skirt/ dress or bright floral trousers (and tights)!

So this grey swing dress is actually Bella's, and I think she bought it last year from missguided. It is really soft and it looks woolly and thick but its actually pretty thin and stretchy and is really easy to dress up and down. I wore this with some tights that I got from primark, the boots I also wore are from primark which I bought last year too and are so comfy.

This sleeveless jacket is from Amazon.co.uk, I bought it in black but there was a mocha, white and khaki one but i decided on black as it goes with pretty much everything! It also has a tie that goes round it to do up at the front.

I'm also wearing my Olivia Burton watch and Thomas Sabo necklace and a purpley red lipstick from Kiko Cosmetics number 614.

Hey guys!! How have you all been?! Today's post is a kinda belated payday wish list (slash) what I really want for the next few months as A/W approaches!

So the first three images of the most recent online purchase that I have made from boohoo.com. I LOVE lace up items at the moment and faux suede, and especially when they are together! So these three garments arrived this morning.. don't you love that feeling you get when the doorbell rings and you know that its a delivery for you.. its so exciting, but opening it is the best part, its addictive and makes me so happy to have these newbie in my life (sad I know)!! These boots are just below knee height, they have a zip down the back so they are easy to put on/ take off and have lace up sides so you can loosen them slightly if they are too tight tot begin with- they are also VERY comfy and easy to walk in I have seen these sold in quite a lot of other online shops e.g. public desire for the same price. The second item is the faux suede 'chocolate' brown lace up front dress, this is so so soft and would look really good either dressed up or down! The last item that arrived this morning is the black high neck long sleeved lace up back crop top which looks so cute on and will go with so much of my wardrobe, if you would like me to post about how I style it then please let me know!!

So the next items in this list of my A/W wish list, are all from missguided. I'm loving khaki and rust coloured things at the moment as you can tell as most of these are those colours. The first item is similar to the black crop top that I have just told you about with the lace up feature with its lace up sleeves which I just so cute! I have also previously blogged about my love for wide leg trousers which I'm still loving for the next seasons, as well as culottes, I recently bought myself some white culottes from primary (which is risky because I don't trust myself wearing white things because knowing me ill ruin them) but I'm loving these pinstripe culottes as they are still summery but also great for autumn as if you're like me and really don't want summer to be over yet they keep the summery vibe alive!

I remember Bella loving the kind of shirts that are next on the list last year and this year I'm loving them too as shirt dresses as they are so simple yet make a real statement and are so easy to dress up with the new lace up boots that is at the top of this list or some converse to dress it down.

As I have also previously mentioned, I am loving khaki and rust colours this season, they are just so bang on trend and colours that I wouldn't usually wear but I can't get enough of them right now! I'm loving this khaki sleeveless duster style jacket with matching trousers, I love this sophisticated coord outfit and it needs to be in my wardrobe when payday comes around!! Same with these rust wide leg trousers, they are so nice and they're even better that they're high wasted and would look lush with my black lace back crop!

The last thing on this list is the beautiful double tassel rust faux suede jacket that I can't imagine being the best in the rain but lovely in the cool autumn breeze. This is an ultimate MUST for the up and coming season!

If you have any questions/ suggestions, as always, let me know and i'll catch you on my next post!!

Turkish Delight 2.0

Outfit 5

Hey everyone it's Bella here! I hope you all had a great summer and have got a good tan on! My summer was fab, I went to turkey for two weeks so as Emillie has done, I thought I would show you my top 5 outfits that I wore when I went out in the evenings, I hope you like them.

Outfit 1- this outfit was one of my faves! The skirt is from a very cheap shop in Italy, which  Emillie bought last year on holiday, but unfortunately we can't remember the name of the shop. My top is from pretty little thing, it was in the sale, it has slits in the sides and is very comfy. My black sleeveless cardigan is crochet and it from Primark, I find it can go with anything (well most things). Finally, my shoes are actually my mums and they are from Clarks. They are extremely comfy and so pretty.

Outfit 2- My second outfit was one I wanted to save until near the end of my holiday, as its a white dress and I wanted it to complement my tan. The dress is from Miss Selfridge and I love it, its one of those dresses that I will always love even if I don't wear it often. The shoes are from River Island and I bought them literally a week before we went away on holiday, I found them in the sale and it was one of those must have buys, they aren't to height either but are so comfy and pretty. I love the silver, holographic effect. The lemon clutch is one of my favourite ever accessorise! I actually love it so much. Its from New Look and again another bargain in the sale. It also came in orange. I use it all the time and was worth the buy.

Outfit 3- My top is the same pretty little thing top worn in outfit 1. My skirt is actually part of a skirt and jacket co-ord from missguided. I purchased it fro my birthday in march and I absolutely love it. I think its so pretty and I think it can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Its simple but elegant I think. The shoes worn are from tkmaxx. They are black and white, platform sandals and cross over on the feet. They are extremely comfy and I can wear them either with a skirt or dress or with jeans when its colder.

Outfit 4- this outfit is also one of my favourites and a classic holiday outfit for me. Emillie won it on an instagram competition last year and I love it because it never goes out of style and I love the reds in it, its so bright and it really stands out. My shoes are also from tkmaxx and I call them my gladiator sandals even though they aren't very gladiator, they can be worn with or without socks but I wear them with and I know many won't like that I wear socks with them especially flamingo ones as the outfit and socks are completely different patterns but hey! The socks are from new look and the shoes are unbelievably comfy I could walk in them forever.

Outfit 5- my last outfit which isn't really an outfit I must say, sooo, my bikini is from river island and I love it! I also got another bikini from river island and I wore both all holiday. They were both so comfy and good quality. They were also really well made too. As I have big boobs I find so many things so unflattering and it annoys me so much as so many shops don't make clothes to flatter you or if they do they are extremely expensive or revolting and I am not about that. So when I tried this bikini on and my other one I was hugely surprised to find that they both fitted but also to find that they were so comfy and I never felt as though I was falling out of either bikini. So honestly, I really recommend river island bikinis.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed what I wrote and I hope it helped you in some way. I also hope you like my outfits and if you have any questions or opinions leave them in the comments below. I wish you all a good week, see you next time!!

Outfit 2 (my outfit not Bellas)

Outfit 5.
Hey guys! I hope you have all had a glorious summer!
I am back from my holiday! I went to Turkey for the first time (with my family)!
We went to Fethiye, Calis Beach which was so beautiful and definitely one of my favourite places to go! While we were out there I took photos of most of my outfits so I could show you guys what I wore on trips out or for the evenings, the outfits here are the my top 5 favourites, as I went for two and a half weeks, that is an awful lot of outfits to blog about so I have chosen my top 5! Bella will be doing a post on some of her favourite outfits in the next couple of days too!

Outfit 1- This is the outfit that I wore on the plane to Turkey, as I have said before I am a big fan of wide leg trousers and these are the perfect things to wear on a plane as they are so comfy and are basically like wearing pyjamas, these ones are from Tesco! I wore them with a white Miss Selfridge bell sleeve off the shoulder crop top and black Birkenstock sandals.

Outfit 2- My second outfit is what I wore on the first night of being in the glorious Turkish heat, wearing again a wide leg garment this time being my monochrome palm tree culottes from Primark combined with my Primark ribbed off the shoulder crop top and Birkenstock sandals, I also used my cute tassel clutch that I bought in H&M.

Outfit 3- So my third outfit is what I wore to the massive Fethiye market- this day was boiling, I mean I can handle the heat- I love the sun and the hotter the better but on this particular day it must have been about 40 degrees, it was so damn hot I couldn't even be bothered to shop!!! But I'm glad I wore this orange halter neck crop top from ASOS with my trusty monochrome pompom Primark shorts, again with my Birkenstock sandals and a black bumbag from Tiger.

Outfit 4- so my second outfit I have blogged about before, but it has made my top 5 holiday outfits because I love these Missguided shorts so much! I wore them with a Missguided black off the shoulder crop top and again.. my Birkenstocks with my tassel H&M clutch bag. I also wore a little sun necklace that I bought in the mountains whilst on an excursion trip! (helping out the local trade and all)!!

Outfit 5- My fifth and favourite outfit of the holiday is what I wore for my brothers birthday meal. This gorgeous faux suede off the shoulder tassel playsuit is from Missguided (of course), it is so comfy and soooooo soft I couldn't help but stroke it all night! I also wore it with my Birkenstocks as they were the comfiest shoes that I took on holiday as we had quite a walk down to the promenade to the restaurants and shops.

I don't know if you guys have noticed but I love off- the - shoulder garments.. I have only just realised how much I wear them! (Incase any of you were wondering, the bikini I'm wearing in the second photo down is from River Island, but I bought it last year so I don't think it will be around anymore!)

I hope you have liked this post on my favourite holiday outfits, Bella will be doing one on her faves too as I have previously said!!!
